In the first period of my second year studying at the St. Joost Arts Academy, I got this assignment.
The goal was to illustrate a story about a powerful woman (who didnt really had a clear conscience). 
My choice was Jiang Qing, the wife of former communist leader of China Mao Zedong. She was well known for playing a major part in the Cultural Revolution (1966-1976) and for forming the radical political alliance known as the "Gang of Four". She dominated the Chinese arts, and in particular attempted to reform the Beijing Opera. The Gang of Four was resposible for the violent persecution of much of China's population.
